Alpha Omega Center's mission is to honor Christ by empowering mothers to choose life, educating individuals and families about healthy relationships, and providing medical services, material assistance, and spiritual support. We provide local families with pregnancy testing, ultrasound scans, and STD testing and treatment at no charge to them. To encourage and equip our community we provide parenting education and material support to families with children ages three and under. We also provide healthy relationships education to students in local public schools. All of our services are provided free of charge to individuals in need.

  Programs Supported by Your Donations

The two programs that will benefit most from donations are our health services and our New Beginnings (parenting) program.

When a young woman is facing an unexpected pregnancy, she often finds herself unsure of her next steps. Alpha Omega Center provides the information and encouragement she needs to choose life for her child. Our team stays in touch with the mother throughout her pregnancy to ensure that she is able to access health care, social services, or other resources to have a healthy pregnancy and delivery. 95% of at-risk mothers choose life after meeting with our client advocates and receiving an ultrasound scan.

Parents, caretakers, and guardians are also able to enroll in our New Beginnings parenting program. This program is available to expectant parents and families with children under age four. Families attend weekly one-on-one parenting classes tailored to fit their needs and, in exchange, earn needed items for their children. Families are able to choose the items they would like for their child from our Parents’ Shop. During the COVID-19 pandemic we were able to help over forty families facing new challenges due to the lockdown in addition to the 28 families we were already serving.

Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help

We are struggling to provide enough appointment slots for families in need of parenting education and material assistance. Our New Castle office is especially busy, and we are currently only able to be open 20 hours a week. If we could increase our open hours, we could impact more families in need. Additionally, we are in need of funding to better advertise our health services to young women in need. It is vital that she knows there is local, free, life-affirming help available to her when she is facing an unplanned pregnancy.
