Programs Supported by Your Donations
Many of our programs and services are held in our meeting room. This includes public feeding programs, youth enrichment activities, our senior center, men’s & women’s groups, and much more. We are in need of replacing our existing lighting with LED lights to be more energy efficient and save on the overall utility costs.
Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the Shenango Valley, The Salvation Army in Sharon immediately went to work with providing emergency food to those in need. By the end of October more than 170,000 meals were provided to those needing help through the pandemic. Currently, we are also assisting those affected by COVID-19 with utility payments. The public has been good to the Army in supporting these emergency services. However, it has been difficult to raise funds for property projects during the pandemic. As we our facility is being utilized more now, there are property repairs that need to be made.
