  Programs Supported by Your Donations

Our venue is open to the public, free of charge, from 2p-11p. Our event is funded by the generosity of donors, sponsors and a grant from PA Council on the Arts.

We will have live musical entertainment on our main stage, located in our food court area. We will also have street performers interacting with guests throughout the venue.

Children attending the event are encouraged to visit our Children's Fun Zone from 3-7p, located at the corner of State and Shenango St. There are many activities planned for kids including crafts using their imagination to create take home artwork, sand necklaces and tote bags. There are giant lego's, music wall, mats for tumbling and water toys to enjoy.

At dusk, we light 55 floating bonfires, filled with pine wood. ablaze on the Shenango River. The aroma and sound travels up the river banks, which are filled with guests enjoying the evening. We will have musical performers on boats, along with a world famous fire performer throughout the evening.

Donations received during the 2023 PA OH GIVES Giving Week will be used towards the purchase of supplies and musical entertainment for our 2023 season.

Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help

WaterFire Sharon PA is funded by donations, sponsorships and grants from VisitMercerCountyPA and PA Council on the Arts. The ability to raise funds to cover the expenses associated with the events has been a concern. Over the past few years, it has become more challenging due to the uncertain economic times individuals and businesses have faced since the pandemic began in 2020. We have made cost cutting decisions to reduce our overall budget. However, WaterFire Sharon PA brings 10,000 to 15,000 visitors per event, not only to downtown Sharon but our county and region, and we do not want to impact our guests time while attending the events by eliminating live entertainment or interactive experiences that everyone truly enjoys. Your financial support will be greatly appreciated.
