Programs Supported by Your Donations
The programming at Akiva Academy is constantly expanding to meet the needs of our students and those of the community. Students participate in innovative activities, resulting in 100% of 8th graders achieving proficiency in Math, 72% in English Language Arts, and 89% in Science. They also engage in intergenerational learning with Levy Gardens Assisted Living, join the National Junior Honor Society, and take trips to locations like OSU's Stone Lab, Washington, DC, Cincinnati, and the Maltz Museum.
Akiva also aims to enhance students' lives beyond the classroom. This is accomplished through a new and exciting reading curriculum, the Well-Rounded Education Program, which provides free after-school enrichment and a new summer tutoring program, Summer Solutions
Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
Akiva’s success is not a well-kept secret. Families across the Valley know about Akiva’s reputation for success, which is why the school is at capacity. Through word of mouth alone, enrollment for Akiva closes just days after registration is open.
More families want to be part of Akiva’s success story, so the school is embarking on an exciting $1.5 million expansion project to create a new state-of-the-art middle school across the street from the current building. This project will double the student body, doubling the students who can attend the school.
