Established in the summer of 2017, the Building of Hope ministry is dedicated to demonstrating the love of Christ by providing beds, bedding, and pillows to people in need. Our aim is to offer individuals in our community facing hardships a supportive hand up, emphasizing empowerment over mere assistance. To meet the demand for beds, we've forged a partnership with Laskey’s Furniture in Sharon. The bulk of our grant funding is allocated towards the purchase of beds, bedding, and pillows. Additionally, we distribute "Baskets of Hope" containing toiletries and cleaning supplies, a Daily Bread devotional, and extend invitations to attend church services.

Programs Supported by Your Donations
Our ministry extends assistance to individuals and families within our community by providing beds, bedding, and pillows. We cater to various groups including the working poor, single parents, veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities on fixed incomes, and more. Nearly all the beds are purchased brand new and we personally deliver these items to the recipients. Additionally, each family we serve receives a Basket of Hope—a laundry basket stocked with toiletries, cleaning supplies, essential household items, a Daily Bread devotional, and an invitation to attend our church. Since our establishment in 2017, we've helped 2,674 families by providing 3,183 beds and bedding.
Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
Our greatest need is continuing to have the funding to provide beds and bedding to those in need. All donations received go toward purchasing new beds and bedding. We purchase new beds at cost from Laskey's Furniture in Sharon.
