GREENVILLE AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

SERVING GREENVILLE / NORTHERN MERCER COUNTY

AMOUNT DONATED: $0

We are hoping to revitalize our ceramic arts program at Greenville High School. Interest in ceramics has grown considerably among our students, and we are excited to expand opportunities for creativity, artistic expression and hands-on learning. To meet this increasing interest, we are seeking funding for essential equipment. A renewed ceramics program will allow students to explore new artistic skills, build confidence, and experience the satisfaction of creating meaningful work with their hands.

FUNDRAISING GOAL: $10,000

  Programs Supported by Your Donations

At Greenville Elementary, students in grades K–6 use a variety of digital programs that enhance learning through interactive, audio-based instruction. To fully access these tools, it’s essential that each student has their own set of headphones. HMH Waggle provides personalized math and ELA practice, delivering real-time feedback and guided instruction that students must listen to in order to progress. FastBridge assessments include audio directions and listening tasks used to monitor student growth and identify learning needs. IXL offers targeted skill-building in reading, math, science, and social studies. With audio support, students can work independently and at their own level. Seesaw is used to share learning between school and home, allowing students to record responses, listen to teacher instructions, and interact with multimedia assignments. Headphones are vital for maintaining focus, supporting independent work, and creating a quiet, productive classroom environment. A donation of headphones ensures every student has equal access to these valuable tools and helps us maximize the impact of our digital learning programs

Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help

In order to meet this increasing student interest, we are seeking funding for essential equipment, including two pottery wheels, a high efficiency kiln, and a proper ventilation system. These items are critical to providing a safe, functional, and inspiring learning environment for our students. Since this is an elective course, we have not had the opportunity to budget to meet this new need. By having the opportunity to provide funding for this equipment, we are meeting a goal for students outside of the academic curriculum that will enhance their artistic talents.
