Programs Supported by Your Donations

The Kennedy Catholic Family of Schools seeks to expand STEAM resources throughout our curriculum. Educational robots can improve teamwork, communication, and coding skills; purchasing three Dash Robots and class packs of mini SPHEROS will foster powerful collaboration while students team up to complete selected tasks. These vital resources will seamlessly integrate with our existing STEAM projects and hands-on learning initiatives. Further, a class set of 35 headphones that work with existing Chromebooks, iPads, and PCs will also elevate students’ ability to work independently and cooperatively.
Funds will support the purchase of Edmentum: Study Island, a standards-based program proven to help students achieve higher math and reading assessment scores. Learning paths are woven into 40-minute weekly sessions to discretely close skill gaps and reinforce essential curriculum proven to accelerate growth. The powerful, data-driven program can provide both intervention and enrichment lessons with live on-line, one-on-one, and small group sessions, and offers trusted assessments of student progress.
Together, these classroom technology upgrades support a personalized and engaging learning environment, benefiting a broad range of KCFS students— now, and for years to come.
