Lydia's Love Moments is a non-profit volunteer-based organization that serves congenital heart disease patients and their families while in Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. LLM's mission is to enrich the lives of these families by creating moments to love and hope in their challenging days. We provide meals, activities, encouragement and financial support with the assistance of our generous donors and through fundraisers that increase awareness of congenital heart defects. We work hand-in-hand with the staff at CHP to help meet these families everyday needs.

Programs Supported by Your Donations

- We provide meals to Ronald McDonald house for families that are living there while their children are hospitalized
- We provide meals to the CICU and Stepdown units
- We provide parking vouchers to families visiting the CICU clinic
- We provide cafeteria meal tickets and specialty desserts monthly to CICU and Stepdown families
- We provide cellphone chargers for families to use
- We provide blankets monthly to families for comfort while sitting with children
- We sponsored a renovation of a clinic room to make it interactive and child-friendly
- We provide monthly crafts for the children in the hospital and their siblings
- We provide coffee vouchers for parents
- We provide bags of essential needs for families while they are at the hospital
- We work with the staff at the hospital to provide other needs for the families

Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help

Everything we do for the patients and families at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital is dependent on fundraising. Our in-person fundraising has been curtailed over the past few years due to the pandemic. Online fundraising is a way to reach a larger audience.
