Shenango Valley Meals on Wheels was founded in 1970 with the mission to bring affordable, convenient, homemade hot and cold meals to their neighbors. Generally, these are neighbors in need, whether it is a physical need or they face some kind of financial insecurity, the staff and volunteers at Meals on Wheels
makes it their job to fill the bellies of the community, while offering the daily preparation, wellness checks, and friendship.

We would gratefully accept donations. They would be utilized by returning directly to the community through food purchases, supplypurchases such as packaging and kitchen equipment, supporting families who live without income, and by bridging our monthly budget if there is a gap in funding.

Shenango Valley Meals on Wheels is currently experiencing rapid growth and that has proven difficult to stay within budgeting guidelines. While we are very careful to make every dollar work for us, there have been severalmonths in the past year where financial needs have not been met. That is why having your support means the world to us and to the community we serve.
