Our mission is to provide every child with a quality early childhood experience. We strive to create a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment, which fosters individual needs. We view education as a partnership between parents and teachers. We believe in empowering children by offering them opportunities to make decisions and solve problems. It is our aspiration that each child will develop a positive outlook towards school, a better appreciation of the world around them and acquire a lifelong love for learning during their time spent at The TreeHouse Preschool.

Programs Supported by Your Donations
Our preschool emphasizes the development of the whole child through active learning situations. We strive for a balanced, nurturing, caring, developmental approach to education for children who are 3, 4, and turning 5 years old. Our program provides freedom for children to have spontaneous play and interaction, where they make discoveries, explore, solve problems, and develop social skills. This, in addition to structured, teacher-directed activities in which children learn to focus attention and function in a group, fosters success and positive self-esteem. Any potential donations would be used to enhance the hands-on and teacher-directed activities by adding an outdoor learning space. This space will contain even more opportunities for our students to make discoveries about the world around them as well as provide additional hands-on science and music play in an outdoor environment. Our plan is to ensure that the space meets the physical needs of all current and future students.
Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
The rising costs of basic needs such as food, clothing, and housing has put a strain on all the areas our preschool serves. Keeping our tuition cost low has allowed many families to send their children to a The TreeHouse which has been praised as Best of the Best in Mercer County at an affordable rate. Low tuition cost does mean that it is difficult for our preschool to complete a major project such as an outdoor learning space.
