West Hill Ministries exists to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of underprivileged children in our neighborhood in a safe and loving environment. Partnering with families is our focus as we aim to support them in raising up the next generation of loving, productive adults with a purpose.

Programs Supported by Your Donations
West Hill Ministries operates after-school programs at two different sites in the city of Sharon for students K-12th grade, one at First Baptist Church on West Hill and the other at St. Joseph Church by the Case Avenue Elementary School. First Baptist also hosts a teen program in the evening. In addition to the school year programming, we host a special week of fun and learning in the summer, a fall festival, an Easter Egg Hunt, and Christmas programming with gifts for underprivileged children and families. Any donations given are used to fund these programs for the direct benefit of the students.
Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
This year, our part-time staff members' wages were reduced by half due to a lack of funding from last year's cycle. It is vital to have the necessary committed staff to operate efficiently. The new management team operated as volunteers this year to be fiscally responsible and to be able to fund the full budget for next year.
