At the Y, strengthening community is our cause and as a result the Y makes accessible the support and opportunities that empower people and communities to learn, grow and thrive. With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the community’s health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.
There is no other nonprofit quite like the Y. That’s because we have the presence and partnerships to not just promise, but to deliver, lasting personal and social change. The YMCA serves the entire community and is open to everyone.
You can support the Y in so many different ways whether joining our member community, volunteering for events and programs, or donating to financially support our community.
Funding makes it possible for children to attend:

Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
The past few years, like every YMCA, have been challenging to say the least. We have not seen an increase in donations due to the rising costs of other goods and services. We are stretching our campaign funds out to cover families that are in continued need, however there will be a time in the not so distant future where we will need to make tough decisions on whether or not to provide scholarship funds to individuals due to the lack of funding. That is why PA OH Giving Week opportunity is so large for us.
