Buhl Park is more than a park. It’s a place where community happens. For over 100 years, Buhl Park has provided free and affordable recreation, entertainment, wellness, and educational opportunities for the Shenango Valley. From free concerts and youth programs to free golf, trails, playgrounds, and community events, the Park is woven into generations of local memories. Our mission is to carry forward the legacy of Frank and Julia Buhl by creating accessible experiences that promote healthy lifestyles, connection, and quality of life for all. Every visit, program, and tradition helps keep that legacy alive.

Free Summer Concert Series featuring live music twice weekly all summer long for more than 30,000 attendees annually
Summer Youth Camp providing outdoor recreation, enrichment, and hands-on activities for children ages 1st grade thru 6th grade.
Junior Golf Program teaching golf skills, confidence, and healthy habits to hundreds of local youth each summer
Free 9-Hole Golf Course - the only free golf course of its kind in the nation
Outdoor Pool serving as the community’s only public pool
Free Tennis Instruction and access to eight public courts
Walking Trails, Pump Track, Fitness Trail, and Play Areas encouraging healthy lifestyles for all ages
Buhl Day and Community Events bringing families together through free entertainment and traditions

The demand for free community programming at Buhl Park continues to grow, especially for our Summer Concert Series, youth programs, and recreational amenities. As a nonprofit park that receives no tax funding, rising operational costs create ongoing challenges in maintaining these experiences. Community support helps ensure Buhl Park can continue providing free concerts, free golf, youth opportunities, wellness activities, and accessible outdoor recreation for generations to come.
