WILLOW WOMEN'S CENTER
Willow Women's Center is a confidential medical office with experienced staff providing no-cost critical testing for a woman facing an unplanned pregnancy. We are a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide the patient education on all options during her compassionate, confidential, and neutral appointment helping her make a well-informed decision regarding her reproductive health and future.
YOUNG LIFE
Young Life exists to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. Our adult leaders (college and older), build bridges of friendship with middle school students, high school students and students with disabilities, that they might invest in them and show them who Jesus is. Young Life is a place for all kids to belong and to consider what a relationship with Jesus might be like.
YOUNGSTOWN BLUE COATS
The mission of Youngstown Blue Coats, a 501c(3) non-profit organization founded in 2017, is straightforward, “In America, nobody should freeze to death.” During winter, we distribute warming items (coats, boots, gloves, hats, scarves, sleeping mats/bags, and more) to homeless veterans and other homeless in Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. We also advocate for those who need assistance, and we work with diverse area agencies to provide each individual we encounter the resources he/she needs. YBC depends entirely on volunteers; there are no paid staff and all funds go directly to our mission.
YWCA MAHONING VALLEY
YWCA Mahoning Valley is a non-profit agency on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, dignity, and freedom for all. We carry out our mission through housing with supportive services, childcare and youth development, empowerment, and racial justice education.
Led by women, we seek partnership and leadership roles in removing barriers and reducing disparities for women, children, and families. While we primarily serve women and families who identify as low-income and minority, as well as women with disabilities, we do not discriminate against men; men access our housing programs and participate in our adult education programs.
