Programs Supported by Your Donations
Gifts to the Annual Fund provide support for Grove City College’s greatest needs. These gifts immediately impact and enrich the student experience in immeasurable ways. They also give the College the freedom and flexibility to respond and apply funds necessary to meet immediate and ongoing needs. The Annual Fund provides for one of the greatest needs – student financial aid. As Grove City College does not accept federal funds, financial aid and scholarships are essential. Tuition alone does not cover all the costs of educating students. The Annual Fund fills in the budget gap because the College does not rely on federal funding or inflated tuition. Funds donated help students afford to attend an institution that equips them to be leaders of the highest proficiency, purpose, and principles. Over 1,000 alumni live in Lawrence, Mercer, and Trumbull County alone and many students attend GCC from the surrounding region.
Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
The Annual Fund is relied on to help support students through financial aid as well as address other needs of the College as they arise. Grove City College is the largest college in the country that does not receive federal funds. This commitment to independence requires fiscal responsibility including how we approach institutional financial aid. Unrestricted financial support through the Annual Fund directly impacts the College’s operation as tuition does not cover all the costs of educating students.
