Giving Week Progress:

FUNDRAISING GOAL: $15,000

  Programs Supported by Your Donations

Potential donations would directly benefit our two student-focused education and workforce development programs, with an emphasis on expanding STEM opportunities and scholarships for the eAcademy and Pennsylvania Cybersecurity Center.

The eAcademy is a high school entrepreneurship program that helps students build real-world business, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and career-readiness skills. Students not only build real companies, but they also see success happening here in the valley. This is because we invite local business owners and community leaders to meet and speak with our students so they can see what can be accomplished here. Donations would support our scholarship program which reduces financial barriers for students. Additionally, donations would support new initiatives such as an expanded AI-focused curriculum, student workshops, classroom materials, and experiential learning opportunities.

The Pennsylvania Cybersecurity Center provides cybersecurity and technology education for high school students, adult learners, and regional partners including Thiel College and Penn State Shenango. The program prepares participants for industry-recognized CompTIA certifications and career pathways in cybersecurity, information technology, and other STEM-related fields. Donations would help fund student scholarships, certification exam fees, lab equipment, laptops, instructional materials, cyber range access, and expanded programming for underserved students throughout Mercer and Lawrence County.

Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help

Our programs are facing increased demand from students, schools, families, and employers seeking access to our key pillars of entrepreneurship, STEM, and cybersecurity. However, limited funding and cuts to high school budgets has increased the need for us to expand scholarships, cover certification costs, and provide ongoing access to lab resources and technology. Donations would help us remove financial barriers, expand program capacity, and ensure more students can access high-quality STEM and workforce development opportunities. We have never rejected a student due to financial reasons and we never will. These donations help us maintain that promise.
