Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
Mercer County Food Bank (MCFB) and our network of nearly 40 member agencies are working around the clock to meet the rising need for food assistance across the county. In 2023 MCFB saw a 117% increase in demand for food assistance distributing 2.6 million pounds of food as more neighbors than ever turned to the charitable food system. This increase in need has not slowed and the food bank is currently trending 16% higher than this time last year having already distributed over 1.1 million pounds of food and counting. To continue working to meet this ever-growing need of the more than 15,000 food-insecure neighbors, we need your help otherwise the need will surpass the available funding.
