Since 1936 Seneca Hills has been serving youth and families from the region with outstanding summer camp programing. Our residential summer camp program is for youth ages 5-18. Campers come from over 17 counties in Pennsylvania plus several in Ohio. During September through May, we host retreats and conferences on most weekends. Sitting on 250 acres we provide a beautiful setting for all those who come here.
We exist to lead people, especially youth, to a vital personal relationship with and a life of dedicated service to Jesus Christ.

Programs Supported by Your Donations
Donations this year will assist us with the replacement of our Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Our existing WWTP is around 90 years old, purchased in the late 1970’s and was approximately 50 years old when purchased. This is the unseen backbone of Seneca Hills.
The replacement of this plant will bring our technology up to modern day standards providing more efficient controls, motors, pumps and tanks. These improvements will bring efficiency, peace of mind and a facility that is built with materials that are suited to handle the outdoor conditions.
The primary liability of our current WWTP is that the tanks that contain the sewage and effluent are made of steel. If the tanks were to fail the ministry of Seneca Hills would be halted until we were able to address the issue. A failure would involve the PaDEP in a mitigation role likely causing significant financial and regulatory challenges for us not to mention keep us from accomplishing our mission. Tackling this project now will allow us to address this liability while keeping our focus on our mission.
This WWTP project is the last foundational project to modernize our infrastructure and prepare us for the next 50 years.
Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
We continue to feel the ongoing effects of inflation and the value of a dollar that does not stretch very far. Our aging infrastructure is a challenge as our ordinary donations cover the ongoing needs of Seneca, but don't allow for necessary capital improvements.
