Our mission is rooted in faith and driven by love, offering hope, dignity, and compassion to all. Programs Supported by Your Donations
Donations to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul directly support the life-changing programs we provide to our neighbors in need throughout our community.
Our Daily Meal Service ensures anyone who is hungry receives a hot, nourishing meal served with dignity—every day. The Sleep Soundly Mattress Program provides brand-new beds to children and adults who have none, restoring rest and wellness. Emergency Assistance helps prevent homelessness by assisting with rent, utilities, and emergency housing - and when neighbors are already unhoused, we respond with compassion, providing EMPWR sleeping bag coats that offer warmth, protection, and hope.
But our mission goes beyond emergency relief. Ready2Work prepares individuals for employment by offering clothing, resources, and confidence to succeed. Our CARES Clothing Room supplies free, seasonally appropriate clothing to anyone in need. Through Home Visits, trained Vincentian volunteers meet with neighbors in their own homes, listening with compassion, offering guidance, and connecting them to essential services.
For 95 years, SVdP has walked beside neighbors facing hardship—offering immediate relief, long-term support, and above all, dignity. Every gift you give helps someone take the next step toward a brighter, more stable future.
Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
Over the past year, SVdP has faced overwhelming demand for emergency services—far beyond what our limited funding can sustain. Rising inflation, shrinking wages, and cuts to public assistance have forced working families, seniors, and first-time seekers to turn to us for help. We’ve had to turn away desperate parents looking for a safe place to sleep with their children. Daily meal service demand has spiked, with more than 118,000 meals served in 2024 alone. And rent, utility, and shelter requests have tripled. Despite our deep commitment, the need has simply outpaced our resources—leaving us unable to fully meet the growing hardship in our community. But with our community's support, we can and will do everything we can to assist our neighbors in need.
