AMOUNT DONATED: $274.97
Society of St. Vincent de Paul has provided daily and emergency safety net services to Trumbull County neighbors in need for more than 90 years. In many cases, SVdP is the only organization providing that service in Trumbull County. Our mission is to foster hope and healing for those individuals/families facing financial hardships. SVdP provides a hand-up to those struggling by providing material, financial, educational, emotional, and spiritual support as needed. Our primary goal is to make certain that, while we provide for those most vulnerable in our area, each neighbor we serve is treated with dignity and respect.

Programs Supported by Your Donations
1.Daily Meal Service: Hot, home-cooked meals provided curbside carry out each day. SVdP now averages more than 500 meals each day. We also provide dozens of daily meals for area mental health/social agency clients living in temporary housing.
Needs that Cannot beMet without Your Help
In the past 18 months, SVdP has seen unprecedented demand for all of our emergency programs and services - many families we are seeing now have never had to access services before. Working families and the elderly cannot make ends meet with increasing inflation, decreasing wages, and social services being eliminated. to In 2022, we witnessed a nearly 73% increase in daily meal service and pantry needs with more than 90,000 meals served and thousands of food boxes; SVdP provided more than $89,000 in mattress and furniture voucher assistance to those living in poverty; rent/mortgage/utility assistance requests tripled and emergency housing & shelter needs have grown exponentially.
